I'll Play along

It's a holiday and I figure if you're actually bloggin' then you have some time to kill.

In that spirit, I'm gonna play the 100 things game that seems to be everywhere lately.

11. Bungee jumped - not in this lifetime or any other thankyouverymuch.

13. Watched a lightning storm at sea - yep. And I've sailed on the edge of many a tropical storms

14. Taught yourself an art from scratch - two words. Anti Craft

15. Adopted a child

16. Had food poisoning

17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty

19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France

20. Slept on an overnight train

21. Had a pillow fight

22. Hitch hiked

23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill - yeah, I work when I'm sick. If I call in? I'm either dead or fakin'. And last I heard, there aren't a lot of dead folks makin' calls.

24. Built a snow fort - yeah...not likely. That whole word "snow" kinda takes it out of the running for me.

25. Held a lamb - and been attacked by the mama for doin' it. Not to mention the whoopin' from Grandpa.

26. Gone skinny dipping - if you only knew

27. Run a Marathon

28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice

29. Seen a total eclipse

30. Watched a sunrise or sunset - one of my favorite things

31. Hit a home run

32. Been on a cruise

33. Seen Niagara Falls in person

34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors - ummm yeah. Gotta kinda know where that would be first. Don't cha think?

35. Seen an Amish community - this just made me giggle.

36. Taught yourself a new language

37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied - but alas, that was my old life.

38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person - I'm assuming the one in Niles Illinois doesn't count

39. Gone rock climbing - this made me giggle too. Can you imagine?!? Me? Rock climbing? Ha!

40. Seen Michelangelos David

41. Sung karaoke - hey, it made me famous and led to the Disney Wedding Singer gig!

42. Seen Old Faithful geyser erupt

43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant

44. Visited Africa

45. Walked on a beach by moonlight - another of my favorite things

46. Been transported in an ambulance

47. Had your portrait painted

48. Gone deep sea fishing

49. Seen the Sistine Chapel in person

50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris

51. Gone scuba diving or snorkeling - but we don't ever talk about that....

52. Kissed in the rain

53. Played in the mud - Mud Football. What's not to love?

54. Gone to a drive-in theater

55. Been in a movie - does it count that I dated one of the extras in GI Jane?

56. Visited the Great Wall of China

57. Started a business - no guts no glory

58. Taken a martial arts class.

59. Visited Russia

60. Served at a soup kitchen

61. Sold Girl Scout Cookies - I sold the most in the state 3 years running. Surprised?

62. Gone whale watching

63. Got flowers for no reason

64. Donated blood, platelets or plasma

65. Gone sky diving - yeah....nope.

66. Visited a Nazi concentration camp

67. Bounced a check - not that it's something to be proud of...for cryin' out loud.

68. Flown in a helicopter

69. Saved a favorite childhood toy - but it's gone now. 

70. Visited the Lincoln Memorial

71. Eaten caviar - does it count if I didn't swallow? Yicky Blech. Won't do that again.

72. Pieced a quilt

73. Stood in Times Square

74. Toured the Everglades

75. Been fired from a job - another one of those "must we bring this up" things....

76. Seen the Changing of the Guards in London

77. Broken a bone - hello? My name *IS* Tammi....

78. Been on a speeding motorcycle - 1st ride ever. 90 mph on the sidewalks. And found out later the guy was drunk.  Took 15 years for me to try THAT again....

79. Seen the Grand Canyon in person - but I wanna

80. Published a book

81. Visited the Vatican

82. Bought a brand new car

83. Walked in Jerusalem

84. Had your picture in the newspaper

85. Read the entire Bible - I am, afterall Mama Vi's daughter. It's kinda expected.

86. Visited the White House

87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating - yes. And you should not be surprised.

89. Saved someone's life

90. Sat on a jury

91. Met someone famous

92. Joined a book club

93. Lost a loved one

94. Had a baby

95. Seen the Alamo in person

96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake

97. Been involved in a law suit

98. Owned a cell phone - or been owned BY one. You're choice

99. Been stung by a bee

100. Read an entire book in one day

If I had the money I'd buy us two plane tickets to San Antonio right now...

hmmm... I may wait until January 12th to do this one. My marathon is the 11th!

47 for me. You dont know what you are missing never having built a snow fort. Does that mean you have never been in a snowball fight too? Then again the snow is one reason I don't move back to western NY (I have seen Niagra Falls more times than I can count).

#15) It is the best thing I have ever done, if nothing else, in my lifetime. I'm so thankful to the "Shot-caller Upstairs" for that son 'O mine. JG :)
