I'm It!!
Well, it seems that blogsis Bou has taken pity on my lack of ability to come up with anything to blog. She tagged me with a meme. One of the few times I'm actually grateful, cause I gotta tell you folks. I got nothin' today....so without further ado......
The rules:
1. Post the rules of the game at the beginning.
2. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
3. At the end of the post, the player then tags five people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read the player’s blog.

What were you doing five years ago?
Five years ago....let's see. 2003. I was living in Tampa, having just moved into my townhouse there. At that point I was contracting for Tropicana so the bulk of my day was spent commuting and working. Huh....seems I can say that for the bulk of the past 10 years. But the difference was the weekends. The weekends were spent on the beach, on the water or with my friends. I was about 25 pounds lighter, with a dark DARK tan and short curly hair. I was dating - yes. Me. I actually did date at one time, believe it or not. I was trying to adjust to being so far away from the beach, it was a bit over an hour drive, but was loving my home.
What are five things on your to-do list for today?
1) Wait for the phone to ring.
2)Finish reorgainizing the dining room.
3)Wait for the phone to ring.
4)Laundry
5) Wait for the phone to ring.
Pretty exciting life, wouldn't you say?!
What are five snacks you enjoy?
1)Quaker rice cakes (yes, I actually love them!)
2) Fruit - bananas and pears are my favorites
3)Cheese
4)Oatmeal cookies with rasins
5)Weight Watchers Chocolate/toffee ice cream bars
What are five things you would do if you were a billionaire?
1)Pay off my mother's house and all her bills. Set up a trust so that she didn't need to worry about money
2)Set up a college fund for my neice and make sure the three kids were taken care of - after they reach an age that lessens the probablility of them blowing through the money.
3) Build my sister her dream farm
4) Soldiers Angels. Big time!!!
5)I'd pay off every dime I owe, get a place to live and invest the rest so I wouldn't have to worry. Oh - and I know it said only five, but I'd also make sure that the children of my friends had college money and my closest friends were taken care of.
What are five of your bad habits?
1) I smoke. I hate it, but I smoke.
2) Like Bou, I curse. Only I think I may be worse than her. Really. Potty mouth is putting it mildly.
3) I love sweets. Love Love Love Love Love
4)Procrastinate. I've made it in to an art form.
5) I do not balance my check book. I keep a running total in my head, and just verify weekly that I'm "in the ball park". I gotta stop doing that. For someone who is as detail oriented work wise as I am, that's just wrong on too many levels.

LeeAnn....barely. Trust me, it was a close call. ;-)
Bou? Yeah. I got cha beat darlin'. Simply BECAUSE I rarely have to watch it! But I think, deep down, we're probably pretty equal on that.

Here's what I'm going to need for you to do: balance your freaking check book. Seriously, being in the ballpark is not a financial plan (unless you plan on sleeping there). I want to see you attack that really big financial goal you keep to yourself. You won't be able to do it until you know for certain how much "might" be available to start funding that sucker today!
